Kevin McKinney is an audience award winning filmmaker, a Television Academy recognized sound recordist and an Emmy award winning cinematographer. He has been in the film industry for 20 years working on countless commercials, documentaries, TV series, and independent films. His lighting has been featured in American Cinematographer magazine and his inventive rigging on "Shitty Rigs".

McKinney began his work in documentary film while attending The University of Kansas, and continues to produce and shoot films, including the award-winning feature film, Corporate.FM, which follows DJs after a corporate take-over. 

 

He is a proud father, living in Kansas City, Missouri with his chickens and two cats, but is happy to work anywhere.
